How to Apply
When to Apply Current First Christian Academy families re-enroll during the month of January. New families can apply beginning February 1st for the upcoming school year to be considered for any available openings. The application fee of $25 is non-refundable.
The Application Process
1. Complete an application on or after February 1st . We must receive all requested documents along with the application before your child will be added to the pool of applicants.
2. If there is an opening in your child’s grade level, the Admissions Committee will review your child’s application and submitted forms.
3. If the Admissions Committee determines that your child may be a good fit for our program, we will schedule a Shadow Day. On this day, your child will spend the day with their peer group and take an entrance test in reading and math.
4. After the Shadow Day, an interview will be scheduled with the K-8 Principal or Admissions Director to go over the test results and share with you the decision of the Admissions Committee.
5. If the Admissions Committee approves your child’s admission into FCA, an enrollment packet will be sent to you electronically. Your completion of this enrollment packet and the payment of the enrollment fee will hold a spot for your child.
6. Additional documents will be requested by the Administrative Assistant before the beginning of the school year (copies of the birth certificate, Immunization record, physical, etc.). All documents must be received before the first day of school.
